EAA as a partner of the Methodological Seminar in the field of the Integrated Qualification System

On November 20, 2019 the Methodological Seminar was held for entities interested in the assumptions and benefits of the Integrated Qualification System.

The seminar was organized by the Katowice Special Economic Zone as part of the project “Council for Competences in the Automotive Sector (including electromobility)”. One of the partners of the event was East Automotive Alliance.

The purpose of the meeting was to strengthen the cooperation of entrepreneurs and schools in order to define and implement new qualifications needed for the development of the Automotive sector for IQS.

During practical workshops, which were attended by specialists from the automotive industry, representatives of the science sphere and representatives of business environment institutions, topics related to the competence needs of the automotive sector in Poland and European Union countries were presented as well as assumptions of IQS in the light of opportunities and benefits for education and business.

Mr. Maciej Ślęzak, Director of the EAA Office,  presented the information and a film about the Podkarpackie Academy of Automotive Innovative Vocational Education project.
